  • I offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Virtual therapy is available via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform for your convenience and privacy. In-person sessions are available at my Costa Mesa, California office.

  • Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes. Couples and family therapy sessions may be 50-90 minutes depending on your needs and what we discuss during the initial consultation.

  • Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you progress, we may reduce frequency to bi-weekly or monthly. The schedule is flexible and tailored to your specific goals and needs.

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your goals, history, and current concerns. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and see if you feel comfortable working with me. There's no pressure to share anything you're not ready to discuss.

  • I specialize in individual and couples therapy, family therapy, trauma therapy, and addiction counseling. I also work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and co-occurring disorders.

  • I use evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and psychodynamic therapy. I tailor my approach to fit your unique needs and preferences.

  • Yes, I work with teens and adolescents, particularly in family therapy settings. For younger children, we can discuss whether my services are appropriate or I can provide referrals to child specialists if needed.

  • Yes. While I prefer both partners participate, individual therapy can still help you improve communication skills, understand relationship dynamics, and work on your own growth. We can also discuss strategies for encouraging your partner to join later.

  • Yes. I have specialized training and experience in treating infidelity, substance use disorders, trauma/PTSD, and other complex issues. I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support tailored to your situation.

  • I am licensed in both California (LMFT #125876) and New York (LMFT#002563).

    I can only provide therapy to clients physically located in these states during sessions

  • I serve clients throughout California and New York via telehealth. In-person sessions are available at my Costa Mesa office. Virtual sessions allow me to work with clients anywhere in these states.

  • Yes! Since I'm licensed in both states, you can continue therapy seamlessly whether you're in California or New York.

  • Individual therapy sessions are $225 per session. Couples therapy sessions are $250 per session. Initial consultation is a free 15-minute phone call

  • I am not in-network with any insurance company. However, I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits.

  • I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service.

  • Yes, I have sliding scale spots available for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please discuss this during your consultation to see if I can accommodate your situation.

  • I require 48-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows will be subject to a fee. I understand emergencies happen and handle these on a case-by-case basis.

  • Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential with a few legal exceptions: if there's risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected child or elder abuse, or if records are subpoenaed by court order. We'll discuss confidentiality thoroughly in your first session.

  • No, unless you provide written consent. I do not share your information with family members, employers, or anyone else without your explicit permission, except in the legally required situations mentioned above.

  • If you're experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988. I'll provide additional crisis resources during your intake

  • This varies widely depending on your goals and situation. Some clients find relief in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term therapy. We'll regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach as needed.

  • I encourage open communication. If you're not seeing progress or don't feel therapy is helping, please let me know. We can adjust our approach, explore what's not working, or I can discuss referrals to other providers if needed.

  • No. As a licensed therapist, I do not prescribe medication. However, I can work collaboratively with your psychiatrist or primary care physician if medication is part of your treatment plan, and I can provide referrals if needed.
