Therapy for Professionals

Licensed, evidence-based care, online anywhere in California and New York

From the outside, you're doing well. You show up, you get things done, and people rely on you. But underneath, you may be dealing with anxiety that won't switch off, a low mood you can't explain, a harsh inner voice, or a relationship with alcohol, substances, or other habits that has started to feel out of your control.

Many of my clients are high-functioning, which often means they've been struggling quietly for a long time. Therapy is a place to stop holding it all together and start understanding what's going on underneath.

I work with adults experiencing:

• Anxiety, overthinking, and stress

• Depression and low mood

• Addiction and substance use, including alcohol, drugs, and behavioral addictions • Low self-esteem, perfectionism, and imposter syndrome

• Relationship challenges and communication difficulties

• People-pleasing and trouble setting boundaries

• Life transitions and questions about identity and direction

Specialized support for addiction

Addiction doesn't always look like what people expect. Many of my clients are successful professionals who wonder if their drinking or use has become a problem, or who know it has and aren't sure where to start. I offer a confidential, nonjudgmental space to explore your relationship with substances, whether your goal is cutting back, quitting, or maintaining recovery. We'll also address what often sits underneath, like stress, anxiety, or low self-worth.

My approach

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness and psychodynamic therapy to address both what you're feeling now and the deeper meaning behind it. Together we'll work toward real relief and lasting change, not just quick strategies.

Sessions are fully virtual through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, with evening and lunchtime appointments available.

Online Addiction Therapy for Professionals

Confidential, judgment-free support, from anywhere in New York State and California

You might not fit the picture most people have of addiction. You're still performing at work, keeping up with responsibilities, and most people around you have no idea. But you've noticed that the drinking, the substance use, or the habit is taking up more space than you want it to.

Maybe you're not sure it's a "real" problem yet. Maybe you've tried to cut back on your own and it hasn't stuck. Or maybe you're in recovery and want support staying there. Wherever you are, you don't have to hit rock bottom to deserve help.

I help adults with:

• Alcohol use, including "high-functioning" drinking

• Drug and prescription medication use

• Behavioral addictions such as gambling, gaming, shopping

• Sober-curious exploration and moderation goals

• Relapse prevention and ongoing recovery support

• Co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem

My approach

Addiction is rarely just about the substance or behavior. It's often a way of coping with stress, pressure, painful emotions, or relationships that feel hard to navigate. Together we'll look at both: practical tools to change your patterns, and the deeper work of understanding what's been driving them.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, relapse prevention tailored to your goals. We'll define what change looks like for you, whether that's cutting back, quitting, or maintaining sobriety.

Why professionals choose online addiction therapy

• Privacy. No waiting rooms, and no chance of running into a colleague.

• Flexibility. Sessions fit around demanding schedules, including evenings and lunch breaks. • Consistency. It's easier to keep showing up when therapy comes to you. • Security. All sessions use a HIPAA-compliant video platform.

Is online therapy right for me?

Outpatient therapy works well for many people. If you're experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms or need a higher level of care, such as detox or intensive outpatient treatment, I'll help you find the right resources and can often continue working with you alongside them.
